FIRST
TOPIC; SELF-PRESENTATION AND IMPRESSION MANAGEMENT AMONG YOUNG ADULTS IN MALAYSIA ON SOCIAL MEDIA
The presenter use a cross-cultural research in order to compare and contrast the issues around the world, which is among different countries
The use of qualitative method with a depth interview session
- to foresee the expected result
- more to positive side such as haring ideas and information
- try to avoid bad behaviors on social media
Mine: I could see not everyone can avoid bad behavior on social media especially when they talk about the hot issues such as the shocking changes within the country done by new administration of the new government, about the religious school to be banned, about the 7 month baby being rapped and many other unbelievable news today.

SECOND
TOPIC; POLITENESS IN INTER-LANGUAGE PRAGMATICS OF COMPLAINTS BY MALAYSIA LEARNERS.
The study was done by using a quantitative method - distributing a set of questionnaire about inter-cultural language adapted from past researchers.
The presentation was like a lecturing session in the classroom - with a long notes in another microsoft file, with figures and numbers, and the slide texts were too small until the listener at the back couldnt see clearly.
Notes: To present the paper, I must prepare slides (10 slides enough) with large fonts
I must speak only the brief notes, not teaching but just briefing about the topic

TOPIC; THE STORY-TELLING
By; Prof Jane Blake
A STORY TELLER Should have:
- a clear loud voice
- good style
- telling stories with a body language
- copy all characters in the story
Eg; a frog sound - the story-teller can copy exactly like a frog sound, a chirp of bird, a sound of a snake - it is very real sound
Interact with the audience until the audience can follow the story-teller sentences, even can memorize the story like memorizing the text in hand!
- Telling stories by singing - and the audience enjoy the song until they can follow sing together!
Mine:
- Teaching English not only using a chalk and pen. But, teacher also can use an interactive two way communication such as story-telling or singing together in the classroom. English also can be learnt by memorizing the lyric of the song, any song suitable with the students age
- Students may bring their best photo album tot he classroom, and telling stories about the photo in front of their friends
- More advance, students can learn to make a short film in English lang for school project or for a competition
- Another activities can be done in the classroom are;
= Parody
= Music video
= My comic strip
= Write a diary
= A journal
= Interview games
= Newspaper cutting

- filled by other teachers
- such as to observe the attitude of students towards learning English
